The flavor of this smoothie is sweet with some tart from the orange and dill, and you won’t even notice the collards are there. This is a wonderful addition for anyone who is trying to add more greens to their diet.

Pear Orange Dill Green Smoothie
- 2 small ripe pears, cored.
- 1 orange, peeled and de-seeded
- 1 tsp dried dill weed
- 3 large collard green leaves, stems removed.
- 1/4 tsp vanilla powder or extract (optional, skip this if you are using vanilla protein powder)
- 1 serving vanilla protein powder (optional, the one I use can be found here)
- 1 cup water
- 4 to 5 ice cubes
For extra fiber add 1 tbsp chia seeds.
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
