This peach walnut green smoothie reminds me of warm peach pie. Except it isn’t warm, and it isn’t pie. But seriously, the flavor combination really does taste like peach pie! Sooo yummy!
Peaches are one of my favorite fruits. They are soft, juicy and so sweet.
They are a great snack (or great in a smoothie!) for losing weight because they make you feel full with very few calories.
Peaches are packed with the antioxidant vitamin C, and are a great source of vitamin A. They contain very high levels of potassium – almost 10 percent of the recommended daily amount.
Walnuts are a fantastic source of omega-3 fats (healthful fats). They are higher in calories but are low on the glycemic index scale, helping you to feel fuller longer.
Spinach has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant health benefits, and is loaded with vitamins and minerals. It is also a great source of fiber and protein – both help to make you feel fuller faster and longer.
